Mechanical Solutions was awarded the expansion project at Mercy Hospital’s Pratt Cancer Center. Mechanical Solutions installed the chiller for the Proton Therapy Machine, one of two in the St. Louis area and one of forty across the nation. The chiller cools the therapy machine while an newly installed air handler serves the supplemental equipment and therapy rooms. Two computer room air conditioning units and humidifier were installed to regulate the air temperatures and humidity to make sure the equipment runs at optimal performance.
